Million Irish Records which may prove very useful considering the almost
total lack of census records

christening, and marriage records from selected parishes in the British
Isles, which include England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, the Isle of Man,
and the Channel Islands. |

an approximate time period from 1538 to 1906, not all years are
covered.
These Parish Records are
NOT a complete collection of births,
christenings, and marriages. Not all localities are represented, and
coverage for any given area may not be complete.
Wales is poorly covered with only 22,000 records in total.
Scotland ranges from 4 records for Nairn to over 1/2 million for
Midlothian. England ranges from 1500 records for Rutland to 1.1
Million for Lancashire. Therefore these search are on a "pot luck"
basis!
